In our Colony, we allow Beavers to earn a few simple badges that they can work on at home with the help of their parents.  The purpose of these is to help reinforce some of the items we discuss during out meetings, and also to help introduce the concept of the independent badge work  that they'll see in Cubs and Scouts.
